Being from Seattle, I understand that weather can make or break a location. I loved living in Seattle. My number one complaint, the weather. It’s rain, rain and wait, more rain. A complaint echoed by many others who have lived in the Seattle area.  But I don’t write a blog about Seattle. I write about Lynchburg. So, what’s the weather like in Lynchburg?

This means that we have hot and humid summers, mild and relatively short winters, and pleasant spring and fall seasons. Now, let’s explore the weather patterns in more detail.

Lynchburg’s winter has average temperatures of 30-50°F and light to moderate snow, averaging around 20 inches annually. The highlight of Lynchburg’s winter is the cozy holiday season, with occasional snow days to enjoy winter activities.
